Today there are over 350m+ of menopausal age in the global workforce. The conversation around menopause at work quite rightly is growing.
My guest today is Karen Stein a certified Executive Coach with a depth of business experience from +30 years in the professional services industry.
As a long-standing Partner of Deloitte since 2000, Karen commenced her second career in 2016 designing and leading the Coaching Program for Women Partners for Deloitte. Karen is also a faculty member of Deloitte University Asia-Pacific and co-facilitates leadership programs
Her purpose and passion for coaching women leaders towards sustainable long-term careers in business roles have brought her to strive to normalise the once-taboo topic of menopause in the workplace. She hopes that the impact of her coaching ripples widely to make our world a better place.
In our conversation we talk about:
Why is menopause a workplace issue?
What types of things can be done to support menopausal employees in the workplace?
Is education of the workforce the key solution?
How does coaching play a role with menopause in the workplace?
Normalising the dialogue around menopause will allow for more supportive conversations across a wider section of our communities.
