Menopause is More Than Symptoms It's About Long-Term Health

For a long time, perimenopause and menopause have been subjects not too often discussed among the medical community, in the workplace and even among friend groups.

This is what inspired my guest, Dr Alicia Jackson, to start Evernow.

She recognized a major gap in the healthcare system when it came to seeing, diagnosing, and treating women 40+. They have often been turned away or overlooked or referred to other doctors to help manage their symptoms.

Because of this, Dr Alicia Jackson and her team have spent a great deal of time conducting new research studies on women specific to their needs and misunderstandings when it comes to perimenopause and menopause diagnosis and care.

Key Takeout from Our Conversation:

1. Menopause is more than just symptoms - it's about your long term health - brain, bone, and cardio-metabolic.

2. Symptoms start sooner than you think - as early as your late thirties and early 40's.

3. Often, symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause aren't what you are thinking of Fatigue, sleeplessness, anxiety and depression. It's so much more than hot flashes.
