Why improving your lateral hips muscles is vital if you're in menopause

Posture is the way you look. Alignment is the way you work.

This week on @thrivingthrumenopause, I was joined by @TracySeiderCoaching to discuss alignment and corrective exercises for women in perimenopause and menopause.

If your lateral hip muscles, which are meant to hold you up and help you get the most from walking, are weak, you become quad-dominant but not stronger.

Good alignment is important for our bone health, our pelvic floor health, our ability to breathe well, and the health of our feet.

Plus, good alignment, not posture, makes us feel taller, slimmer and younger.
